Scandal was formed in August 2006 by four high school girls. The girls, Haruna, Mami, Tomomi, and Rina, met in an Osaka vocal and dance school called Caless. Shortly thereafter, they started performing live performances every weekend at Shiroten in Osaka Castle Park. Soon, they started getting offers from clubs in Osaka and Kyoto. The band’s name originates from a sign near Studio Brotherz, a studio where they practiced in their early days. The studio is on the sixth floor of a building shared with other businesses, namely adult shops. The girls decided to choose the biggest sign among the shops, “Scandal” (スキャンダルSukyandaru?), as the name for their band.

Japanese Voice Actresses: Ibuki Kido and Erii Yamazaki Promote Their Major Debut Single!!!

To promote their major debut single “Colorful Story,” two-member voice actress unit everying!, consisting of Ibuki Kido and Erii Yamazaki, held a promotional event tour titled “39 (Thank You) Kouen” at various places in Japan from June to November of 2015. The special editon of their upcoming 2nd single “Shining Sky” to be released on February 10 will come with a DVD containing its one hour-long behind-the-scenes footage from the final day (at Shibuya Chelsea Hotel on November 15) of the tour. Tales of Zestiria TV Anime Adaptation Confirmed for 2016

Earlier this year, at the annual Tales of Festival event, Tales of. publisher Bandai Namco Games have announced that a TV anime adaptation of the franchise’s latest game, Tales of Zestiria, will be receiving a TV anime adaptation in 2016. The anime itself will be animated by ufotable (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Kara no Kyoukai).

The anime’s official website has launched and revealed that the anime will be titled Tales of Zestiria the X. The upcoming anime will be produced by ufotable, who have been producing the Opening anime scenes for many of the recent games in the franchise.
